"Your body's ability to heal is greater than anyone has permitted you to believe."
After graduating from the Center for Massage and Natural Health in Asheville, NC, Samantha quickly started taking extra workshops, specializing in John Barnes Myofascial Release, Usui Reiki, and pediatric massage. Samantha tailors every massage to how that client's body presents that day, along with focusing on the client's overall goals, invoking the maximum healing potential for each session. She loves being able to bring all modalities into each session. In working with the fascial system, she has seen incredible results and hopes you do too. After her time at Center for Massage, her husband, Zach, has followed in her footsteps attending the school and building their practices at Lighten Up Massage.

After following his wife of more than 10 years through massage school, Zachary graduated from the Center for Massage and Natural Health where he studied sports massage, stretching, trigger points, and Thai Massage. After graduating, he wasted no time and took advanced classes on spinal bodywork and assisted stretching.
Zach is a very active person who enjoys climbing, biking, hiking, and lifting while living with chronic back and joint pain. Since becoming a massage therapist, Zach has learned how to manage his own body in ways he never thought possible. He now understands how important it is for active people to get out and play while finding ways to be able to recover from activities without flaring chronic pain from old injuries or ongoing structural stress. Zach wants to educate and help others enjoy life with massage therapy the way it has helped him. Zach and his wife Samantha currently practice out of Lighten Up Massage & Bodywork offices.
